R.KELLY TO ROCK UG
American R&B and soul singer-songwriter will perform in Kampala for a show scheduled to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval on January 29. R.Kelly has been rumored to be be the next big attraction in Uganda but it was still under wraps until we landed on the exclusive. And inside sources at Zain Uganda revealed that the telecommunication company was the main sponsor of the concert. ''He is coming courtesy of Zain Uganda as part of promotion for their new product to be launched very soon. The campaign has already started with teasers in the newspapers where people can win airtime of up to Kshs2,000 by guessing the artiste coming,''added the source. The telecommunication company are expecting that the American star will rewrite history as far as concerts in Ugandan are concerned. UK reggae group UB40 and reggae singer Lucky Dube are on record as having attracted the largest crowds as far as concerts are concerned.
