ALCOTT LAUNCHES BRAND AMBASSADORS

The birth of fashion house Alcott was witnessed by the top stars and fashionistas in Nairobi on Saturday. The Kenya International Sports Ltd launched their new retail Alcott store at the Atrium of the Junction shopping mall's new extension.They also unveiled the brands’ A-team brand ambassadors made up of personalities from the TV industry; Straight Up’s Namtero Mdee and Changing time stars Ian Mugoya, Nick Munene, Brenda Wairimu and Precious Kerry.

The event also showcased their sports wear at a fashion show before the VIP invite only star-studded affair was underway. Kenya International Sports Ltd also owns the popular retail chain of stores Converse and Factory 55.

FORMER TV HOST DROPS TOTS

Former SHEKI FM director and tv presenter Grace Sowairina Msalame is now a mother of two bouncing baby girls. The overjoyed mother delivered last week in  Nairobi hospital. And showbiz xklusivs learnt of the news from an inside member of the station. She immediately named the twins Zawadi and Raha. The father of the twins is said to be her ex boyfriend Paul Ndichu. Grace is the daughter of the late Metro FM presenter Tony Msalame.

HAS LOUIS OTIENO BEEN FIRED FROM K24?

K24 has shown news anchor Louis Otieno the door.Louis one of the best male TV anchors in the recent past has been loosing grip daily and the his star had become dim.. Many will recall his face at Nation TV alongside Beatrice Marshall.He later left Nation for KTN ..then ditched KTN for SK Macharia's Citizen TV. At Citizen TV, he was given a talk show, a show that was well executed for months. Now rumors are that the JVC has been dismissed and will be missing the silver screen.

KAMBUA TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE

Love is in the air. And money does move mountains and Gospel singer Kambua Manundu is set to wed a guy with deep pockets this April. The  diva who is featured in Jimmy Gaits current chart buster 'Holy Day' is said to be engaged to “the son of a property mogul”. Kambua who dated fellow gospel star Mbuvi last year, recorded a song together titled Kivevelo (Flag). Kambua first joined the Kenyan music industry in 2004 with her song Amani and went on to top charts with the collaborative efforts in the single Mtoto Wa Sonko with DNA and Isaac Kahura.
The Bachelor’s in Music graduate from Ambrose University also studied at Berklee College of Music where she completed a course in performance. She is famed as the hosts on Citizen TV’s Sunday morning gospel show, Rauka together with Njugush and DJ Soxxy.

SEXY DIVA DUMPED??

Sexy singer and TV host, Monique is single again. The voluptious diva broke up with her long-time rugby sweetheart Tim. Tim ,a rugby player with Mwamba club, (together with rugby stars like Collins Injera and Humphrey Kayange), dated Monique for about four years now. Although it's not clear what caused their break up, Monique has already changed her status on Facebook as 'single' although Tim is yet to do so. Sources close to the two say that they broke up two weeks ago, they just went public this week. Monique is currently a TV host at Citizen TV, hosting the music program 'Afrodizzia', produced by David Makali owned Sound Africa. Her album is coming out soon, produced by Musyoka of Decimal Records.
