PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE TO RAISE FAMINE MONEY FOR KENYA
WILLS and Kate are set to make a personal plea to help the 13million victims of the famine in Kenya and Somalia. In the royal couple's first joint humanitarian mission, they will visit UNICEF's supply distribution centre in Copenhagen next week. And they will use their global fame to highlight the desperate plight of more than 320,000 children who are at risk of death after East Africa's worst drought for 60 years. The region is dear to their hearts as Kenya is where the couple, both 29, got engaged.A Clarence House source said they had been deeply moved by the tragedy and want to "do their bit". Britain has donated £128million to the cause since July but more is needed. Unicef UK chief David Bull said: "I am thrilled the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are committed to helping."
