Although the details of how much she pocketed from the deal remain scanty, sources say she took home a six figure. The perfume is the teen’s pop star second release after his Someday which was a big success last year, earning millions in just three weeks at Macy’s Herald Square. Philip Moi's estranged wife yesterday urged police to arrest him and bring their dispute to an end. Moi is the son of former president Daniel arap Moi. He has been involved in a bitter court dispute after refusing to pay Pluda Sh250,000 per month maintenance. He says he cannot afford to pay and was briefly declared bankrupt last month.Rossana Pluda arrived at the Muthaiga police station shortly before 3 pm accompanied by process server Willy Mwendwa. She said that the police should act on the warrant of arrest issued by Justice GBM Kariuki on Tuesday. Pluda informed the OCS that Philip had been in his house in the morning but left in a Range Rover. He returned to his Muthaiga residence for lunch in a Volkswagen Passat but left again in the afternoon. "The judiciary has done very well and I hope the police do the same to prove that there are reforms going on," said Pluda who was dressed in jungle green trousers and a brown sweater. "The warrant has been received and signed. I have agreed to do it but please call me if he is seen in Muthaiga. I don't have a vehicle now but will go there when the vehicle is available," Muthaiga OCS Johnstone.K Wanyama told Pluda."I didn't want this to go this way but I have been tossed from one court to another. I didn't want to get to the point of getting a warrant of arrest against my ex-husband. This is for all women in Kenya going through divorce. It is not a personal war," Pluda said. "I am disappointed by women politicians who have not said anything yet it is a problem affecting most women in the country," Pluda said.
In March Philip escaped arrest after police refused to accept the court's arrest warrant. Justice GBM Kariuki had ordered that Philip be arrested and held in the civil jail at Industrial Area Prison for one month unless he pays all maintenance dues to his estranged wife, Rossana Pluda Moi. Last October, Philip was ordered to pay Sh250,000 a month for Rossana's upkeep and maintenance for the couple's two children but he has argued that he cannot afford it. Philip now owes Rossana more than Sh2 million. The court orders issued last Thursday said the warrant should be executed by the officer in charge of the police station nearest to Philip's residence. He lives in Muthaiga.

e the Tusker Project Fame's fifth season ends, on 29 July 2012.
The five contestants on probation that evening had to fight for the three slots to make it into the top ten in order to get this chance of a life time. Judge Ian Mbugua advised the contestants who made it to the top ten to prove they deserve the unique chance to see their music recorded by a top music label. His sentiments were echoed by Judge Julianna Kanyomozi who implored the lucky contestants to make the best of the opportunity. Eunice Guttu, Allan Roy Sekiranda and Nancy Chan were the lucky contestants to be saved from eviction while Tanzanian Damian Mihayo and Fatuma Muhonza from Rwanda, did not make it and had to leave the TPF academy. They also lost the chance to be featured in the upcoming album.
Twenty-eight year old Fatuma said she would not about to give up. "I will be going straight to the studio from the academy. I am disappointed because I performed much better tonight."

Damian on the other hand explained his dismissal from the academy, "I come from Dar es Salaam where it is very hot. It is much cooler in Nairobi and I had to warm up more than any other contestant in the academy. This affected my voice." The remaining contestants continued to battle for survival in the academy on Sunday. The announcement by UMG International seemed to have given them impetus to work harder as most of the performances were much better than seen in previous weeks. Ugandan musician, Jackie Chandiru of the "Gold digger" fame performed to an already charged audience that had been thoroughly entertained by the top 10 contestants who sang their hearts out to stay out of the nomination list. Kenyan favourite Ruth Matete brought the house down with her rendition of the Mariah Carey track "Anytime you need a friend". Principal Hellen Mtawali praised her command for the stage. Nancy Chan, who had a bad performance last week had a much better performance and managed to keep off  the nomination list. Jackson, who had a hard time getting the dance moves during the week, performed Pepe Kale's "Moyibi" to great applause from the audience. But that did not save him from probation. By the end of the night he was one of five contestants on probation. The others are Allan Roy Sekiranda who is in the hot seat for the third week in a row, Jackson Kalimba from Rwanda and, Kenyans Steve Homes, Doreen Nyawira and Eunice Guttu. The fifth edition of Tusker Project Fame now features a narrowed down list of ten contestants from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Southern Sudan and Burundi battling it out for the top prize – a KSh5 million cash prize and a recording deal worth KSh10 million with Universal Music Group, one of the world's leading music production and merchandising companies.

Nigeria's most funniest man BasketMouth is not your average entertainer. He's actually a moneybag. Though he might sound stupid on stage in the name of making his audience laugh but the Naija guy has the brains of a business mogul. And he's putting he's 'easily' earned cash to proper use. The comedian recently acquired three brand new cars; two 2012 edition of Hyundai Elantra, and a 2013 Opel Insignia for his Baron World entertainment outfit. Prices for 2012 edition of Hyundai Elantra range between $17,000 and $20,000 on Motortrend .com. So dude would have spent over $100,000 on cars. He has also moved the events company from his former Lekki base to a much bigger place on Ogunlana Drive, Surulere.
