AFRICA'S WEALTHIEST BISHOP TO LAUNCH AIRLINE COMPANY

Nigeria’s richest pastor and self-styled bishop, David Oyedepo, has made a glistening addition to his business empire by floating an airline called Dominion Air. Oyedepo, who a few years ago ignited debate on flamboyant Christianity by acquiring his fourth private jet, is the owner of Dominion Publishing House, Covenant University and an elite secondary school called Faith Academy.
Sources within the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the agency charged with business registration in Nigeria, confirmed the registration of Dominion Air with David Oyedepo as its chairman. Another source within a Lagos-based insurance firm known to handle most of Oyedepo’s businesses said the airline project had been in the works for six years and was only made a reality this year. The broker who balked at putting figures to the number of aircrafts so far purchased authoritatively said none of them is on lease.

True,Bishop Oyedepo is reflection of God's prosperity.

BANKY W ROMANCES DENCIA

A peculiar underground romance is on in the entertainment industry. The actors involved in the acts coat the development in the wardrobe of 'unusual'Mr 'clean image' and celebrated artiste Bankole Wellington( Banky W) is said to be embroiled in a hush hush romance with controversy hugging starlet singer, Dencia.Banky W is said to be very discreet about the development- same for the singer, for now.
Insiders claim it has been on for some time- but insist it is nothing serious.According to a source ' Banky is just having casual fun, though the girl prefers something more serious'Informants are of the opinion that the chances of 'something serious' coming to play in the shrouded romance is almost absolutely nil, except of course the irregular phenomenon of 'unexpected' factor in such affairs come into play and change the shape of things. The analysis is based on their projected im
age.Banky W is viewed as a serious minded touch light of his sphere. He has a wondrous image to his credit. Revelations such as this also put paid to whispers about his bedroom conducts.Dencia is an obscure singer that has hit serial awareness twice for all the wrong reasons- the first was over a property theft mess and second, fighting at a major event. She recorded these controversies with the same adversary- Liz Garvy. It is feared that publicly aligning with such a character might heavily take away major points from Wellington's good name: hence the continued secrecy in the romance.

CAMPAIGN TO CATCH EVIL WARLORD GOES VIRAL

A video created to raise awareness about vile militia leader Joseph Kony has now racked up more than 26million views since being posted on YouTube on March 5, and is being backed by a host of celebrities.
Kony is the leader of Ugandan military group the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) and is wanted for committing crimes against humanity including rape, abduction and murder. For 26 years his rebel group has systematically kidnapped more than 30,000 African children — forcing girls to become sex slaves, brainwashing boys into becoming child soldiers and brutally killing those who don't comply. Now American activist group Invisible Children has created the half hour video, Kony 2012, in a bid to bring the dictator to justice.
Told through the eyes of Jacob, a former LRA child soldier, the documentary is set to make Kony "famous, not to celebrate him but to raise support for his arrest". The Ugandan army has been searching for Kony throughout Central Africa for years without luck. The US recently sent 100 special forces advisers to help out. But he still manages to evade the clutches of the International Criminal Court. Yesterday, "Kony 2012" and "Invisible Children" were trending worldwide on Twitter, with the 30-minute video being re-tweeted thousands of times.
Pop princess Rihanna tweeted: "#Kony2012 Spread the word!!!" and later, "PLEASE go to Invisiblechildren.com Even if its 10 minutes ... Trust me, you NEED to know about this! #1LOVE"
However, some have raised concerns about the organisation behind the video, criticising their spending practices and the film's approach as overly simplistic.
They also point out that the campaign calls on the public to pressure the US to continue working with the Ugandan army &;151; an organisation that has its own records of abuses.

JOSE CHAMELEONE'S CUSTOM CELL PHONES

Chameleone landed a Samsung deal that would saw him appear on their billboards plus other TV and Radio adverts. That was not all, a mobile cell phone named after him was to also launched too. Confirming the technology in him just like one of his tracks dubbed Chamili Chamili Technology, he unveiled the phone that was  given to lucky fans during the Valu Valu Concert. The year 2012 so far is just amazing for the East African music giant. A few weeks back, his wife Daniella Mayanja gave birth to a bouncing baby girl and to this he upgraded her car from a black Toyota Harrier to a Black BMW X5 series as a gift.

UGANDA'S BILLIONAIRE DIVA BUYS COMMERCIAL BUILDING

ZARI HASSAN ,the Billionaire Ugandan diva has acquired a commercial building in Kampala. The commercial building is located between Santos Ice Cream and Watoto Church. In a weeks time, the building will be having a name like 'Zari Plaza' which we will gladly show on these pages. Meanwhile, Zari has apologized to Dr. Chameleone over the mess during the Valu Valu show last Friday. She wrote on her wall: "My sincere apologies to Dr. Chameleone, no intentions for stealing ya spotlight. luv u dude...." The diva differed with city socialite Judith Heard during the Jose Chameleone album launch concert. Apparently, what made Judith Heard go nuts was the fact that Zari showed off real cash at the show and she was ready to pay for the phone and yet Judith Heard had asked the MC to close the auction olf the Chameleone phone after she had made a pledge of pounds 2,000. She resorted to using X-rated words while hitting back at Zari. The MC's failed to control the two socialites forcing the lights and sound to go off for some minutes before security whisked Zari to safety.

SONY BMG SIGNS GOSPEL SINGER ROSE MUHANDO

Rose Muhando has signed with SONY Music. At least now we would see quality in her music. The gospel artiste had for years done good music with very poor quality despite the fact that she made millions of shillings in her career. She landed the SONY deal last week. We hope SONY BMG would do something with her and that hers is not a raw deal like that of Nakaaya Sumari whose contract ended with nothing to show. Rose Muhando is arguably the leading gospel act in Tanzania and one of the wealthiest in East Africa.
