Popular actor Ken Ambani won international film award last week. Known in the entertainment circles as Baraza,Ken was named the Best actor in Tarifa African Film festivals in Spain. Baraza won the award for his role in the film 'FROM A WHISPER which was directed by Wanuri Kahiu. The actor who also works with Posta Kenya was happy about the award. 'I just thank God for the award. It's something that shows my talent is appreciated internationally,'he said. Tarifa's African film festival which is located on the closest Spanish city to Africa on the Gibraltar Straights, screened some 113 movies from 36 different countries during its 7 th edition. The winners were selected from a pool of 15 nominees by an international jury of experts. They received cash prizes ranging from 2,000 to 15,000 Euro. The competition took place from May 21st to 29th in Spain
