UGANDA'S SEXIEST DIVA TO BE INTERROGATED

WORD reaching us has it that top policemen are interested in interrogating sexy diva Desire Luzinda about allegations that she was attacked and beaten up by unidentified men along the Northern bypass.We hear that despite the fact that Luzinda is hesitant about pursuing her attackers, the Police wants to establish substantial facts about the whole event.“We are waiting for her to come here and tell us whatever happened and we investigate the whole matter, we cannot just look on,” a top Police officer at Wandegeya Police station said. Our efforts to get the singer’s comment were futile as she did not pick our calls but a close source to the ‘Njagala Nnyo’ singer said that they will not report to Police but rather will take precautions now that they have enemies following them. The singer was allegedly beaten up by three men who dragged her out of her Mercedes Benz before dumping her unconscious by the roadside. She was reportedly taken to a Hospital in Nairobi. Other sources say that men could be following her as she has been in and out of relationships with a number of city businessmen. “I suspect that one of his estranged boyfriends could be the one who masterminded the whole thing as she has dumped a number of men, many of whom still loved her,” a close friend to the singer who preferred anonymity said

. AVRIL TO STAR IN MTV DRAMA SERIES

Ogopa DJ artiste Avril has bagged a role in the second MTV drama series, Shuga that starts filming this week in Nairobi.
Avril who will play the role of a character called Miss B’have will be joined by other Kenyan personalities like Nick Ndeda (Angelo), Nancy Wanjiku (Baby), Brenda Wairimu (Dala), Edward Nyanaro (Rayban) and Ikubese Emmanuel - a.k.a. 9con - (Femi).
Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong’o, who played the pivotal character of Ayira in Shuga, returns on the other side of the camera as co-director alongside South African veteran Teboho Mahlatsi.
Also returning for the second series of Shuga are Sharon Olago (Violet), David Omwange (Skola), Nick Mutuma (Leo), Antony Mwangi (Kennedy) and Valerie Kimani (Sindi).
Other actors chosen at the public casting a few weeks ago are Christopher Otieno and Wairugi Mutero. Wairugi will be playing the role of Njoki (a party girl who loves to live in the moment) while Christopher will be cast as Slim, a small-time gangster.

Voi based afro-fusion singer Nyota Ndogo is scaling heights and proving that education is no key to success. Well, she is a former house help or call her ex maid ..but that's her past. She has outgrown it and is now building a $10,000 house in Voi. The separated mother also added baby no.2 from a PR officer based in Nairobi who is her boyfriend.

KANYOMOZI ADDS ANOTHER WHIP

SHE has driven almost every luxurious ride you can imagine and by the look of things, there is no sign that she will stop anytime soon. The latest ride diva Juliana Kanyomozi is cruising is the Mitsubishi Shogun 2010 model white in color in the UAP series.  Juliana’s ride goes for between sh117m and sh152m. The 4X4 monster ride boasts of a strong 3.2-litre diesel engine, 7-seater space equipped with 6 airbags, an altimeter and a barometer to predict the weather; this car can only be compared to a BMWX5 or a Toyota Land Cruiser.  Meanwhile, Juliana turned up for the show in Mukono recently driven by her brother and manager in her latest ride which turned heads.

LIZ OGUMBO TO FILM MUSIC VIDEO IN NAIROBI

South Africa based Kenyan designer and musician Liz Ogumbo will be in Nairobi next week. The skinny and exquisite damsel who lives in Johannesburg will be filming parts of her music video in the Kenyan capital. Speaking exclusively to Showbizxklusivs from Mzansi she said she said that the single is part of her upcoming album. 'Coming to shoot another music video in Kenya next week and may also pull off my typical “FASHION Meets MUSIC” show..will let you know once I finalize my plan.'  Last week ,Liz pulled of lovely fashion show at Design Indaba where she got to showcase three of her different summer collections.It was a wonderful experience as I performed and strutted the runway to introduce each range.'she added. It is rumored that she is signed to Gallo records.
