JAMAICA'S BAD GAL COMES FOR CHARITY

Almost a year after she performed in Kenya, self-styled 'bad gal' Cecile is set to tour the country again. However, this time she is said to be visiting the country for charity. According to sources close to the singer, she is going to be involved in a very big project that might take a while. “It is in the works, nothing is confirmed yet but it's going to be backed by some big corporates and Unicef,” said the source. Cecile on Saturday excitedly tweeted to her Kenyan fans saying they would soon be seeing her, only to delete the tweet hours later. This will not be her first charity activity as she is known to be a very strong advocate for women empowerment including supporting a girls school in Jamaica. She will be the second Jamaican artiste to tour the country on charity as two of the biggest names in reggae, brothers Gramps and Peetah Morgan of Morgan Heritage, came to Kenya in October for various projects related to the famine relief efforts.
