The Mavado and Chris Martin show has now been confirmed on Easter day
according to information from Uganda Breweries Ltd. The show was supposed to
take place on Dec 29 but according to a tweet from Mavado, he seemed to be
complaining of airtickets and the Uganda show clashing with the one in Nigeria. This was Mavado's tweet: "Unfortunately the show was
tagged with a show in Nigeria and they let us down financially and with plane
tickets. They are out of the picture now." Looks like Uganda is now back
in ''Mavado's picture'' Uganda Breweries Marketing Director Grace Gwaku
confirmed that the action packed show will be held on the Easter weekend and
those who purchased tickets plus those with complimentary tickets were advised
to present them on that day. UBL while apologizing to the fans said that
the duo will be performing in Uganda for the first time and also added
that Konshens is out of the picture. Looking at what has happened in the
past two weeks, some fans were like but won't the same happen around Easter
time prompting this reaction from Bell Lager. "We understand your anger
and disappointment but we do promise that we shall have a grand show come the
Easter weekend."
