JENNIFER ANISTON TO EXCHANGE VOWS IN KENYA

Thats the juice according to numerous American blogs. Popular actress Jennifer Aniston and fiancee Justin Theroux plan to wed in Kenya in December 2012. According to sources,the couple have planned a nine-night private safari - probably in the Maasai Mara ,then stay a private beach in Mombasa- for the first week of December where they will have an informal blessing although they will also have a formal ceremony in Los Angeles on their return. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Both Jen and Justin want a private and intimate wedding, and they love the idea of eloping and marrying abroad. Kenya will be an amazingly romantic break and the plan is to have some kind of informal blessing while out there. They may well undergo something more formal in L.A. immediately afterwards."

It was a conglomeration of the top socialites during the traditional wedding of Ikechukwu Anoke aka Ike to model Borna Nyaoke. The wedding was held in Mombasa and the MTech Group CEO and event’s organiser proved that he still had some ‘oga’ culture in him. Apparently, Ike spent over Ksh.5 million (N10m)for the traditional wedding. All guests to the wedding donned flowing white Nigerian agbada. Champagne was the order of the day. In attendance were individuals such as Nigerian promoter Opa Williams, Easy FM presenter Angela Angwenyi , comedian Eric Omondi amongst others. Ike has been dating his love Borna Nyaoke who is now a doctor at Kenyatta Hospital for a while now. The couple claim that they will do a white wedding in Nigeria come 2013.

You've heard it that Nollywood star actress Stephanie Okereke is getting married to Linus Idahosa in Paris in February. But the actress has come out and denied the story published by several Naija media.  In a recent interview with YNaija, the actress said the report is not true. 'Another media story! I’m not getting married in February. Very untrue, please tell them. Stephanie said. On her recent annulment, she said..''I sought for annulment and I got it. I never sought for divorce. It was an annulment. He was married to someone abroad so with that evidence I was able to seek for annulment. The court cannot grant annulment unless I had proof. Around 1000 guests were invited to the lavish Bobi, Barbie wedding  on Saturday, 27 August 2011.

Singer Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, wed Barbara Itungo at Rubaga Cathedral Kampala in a ceremony presided over by Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga. Their guests were treated to a luscious lunch in the sprawling Victoria Hall at the lakeside based Lake Victoria Serena Hotel.

From the guests that attended the party, it looks like the invitations were limited to the ‘who is who’ in society. A rough breakdown of guests included religious leaders, members of parliament, ministers, cultural leaders, prosperous businessmen, artistes (both in music and film), family, friends and well wishers and not forgetting city socialites.

Each of these categories of people were duly represented. Notable guests included the Nabagereka of Buganda Sylvia Nagginda, Prince Wasajja, Gilbert Bukenya, Godfrey Kirumira and his wife, Latif Sebbagala, Eria Lukwago, Ken Lukyamuzi, top artistes except Bebe Cool, Chameleone and his wife Daniella were present for mass but curiously absent at the reception, socialites led by Judith Heard among others.

Bobi’s wedding goes down in the books as the poshest celebrity wedding so far! We are comparing it with the fellow artistes Jose Chameleone’s, Ragga Dee and Silver Kyagulanyi who also had lavish weddings.

Didier Drogba remarried his long time partner, sweetheart and mother to his three children in a simple ceremony on June 13, 2011. Drogba remarried Lalla Diakite in a private ceremony at the Marie de Monaco in Monaco in the south of France. The couple had a tiny wedding back in the day when he was struggling to make it to the pros.
The Chelsea star and Ivory Coast international sported a simple grey suit for the ceremony, while his wife also kept it relatively simple in a plain white gown.
Meanwhile the bridesmaids wore lilac outfits.The ceremony was officiated by club owner Roman Abramovich, with his team-mates Salomon Kalou and Florent Malouda among the groom’s men.
RnB superstar Akon and a host of stars from NBA were also said to be included on the list of guests for the event.Didier also flew in singer J.Martins from Nigeria.
Also in attendance were Nigeria's singer J. Martins, alongside DRC's Fally Ipupa.
The football is said to be a fan of J. Martins after hearing his collaboration with Congolese music star, Fally Ipupa, on the song, Jupa Remix.

Didier and his bride met in 1999 when he was in the early stages of his career in Paris, they have three children together and maintain a relatively private life apart from Drogba’s infrequent visits to West End clubs with his team mates.

We told you about their wedding last Saturday. Finally,we kept our word and below are the pictures.
On Saturday, 26th February 2011, Kevin and Liz solemnized their love during a ceremony in Abuja. After the religious blessings, the wedding proceeded to the International Conference Centre Hall for the grand reception.
Liz was a beautiful modern bride in her embellished halter neck fishtail wedding dress. The silhouette of the dress accentuated her svelte figure, Liz completed her look with a birdcage veil. Kevin did something less conventional. The groom looked handsome in a black kaftan with white embroidery. We totally love that the couple did things their own way and both looked great!Finally, Tanzania and Nigeria have a relationship..
