PRESIDENT'S SON WANTED BY POLICE

Philip Moi's estranged wife yesterday urged police to arrest him and bring their dispute to an end. Moi is the son of former president Daniel arap Moi. He has been involved in a bitter court dispute after refusing to pay Pluda Sh250,000 per month maintenance. He says he cannot afford to pay and was briefly declared bankrupt last month.Rossana Pluda arrived at the Muthaiga police station shortly before 3 pm accompanied by process server Willy Mwendwa. She said that the police should act on the warrant of arrest issued by Justice GBM Kariuki on Tuesday. Pluda informed the OCS that Philip had been in his house in the morning but left in a Range Rover. He returned to his Muthaiga residence for lunch in a Volkswagen Passat but left again in the afternoon. "The judiciary has done very well and I hope the police do the same to prove that there are reforms going on," said Pluda who was dressed in jungle green trousers and a brown sweater. "The warrant has been received and signed. I have agreed to do it but please call me if he is seen in Muthaiga. I don't have a vehicle now but will go there when the vehicle is available," Muthaiga OCS Johnstone.K Wanyama told Pluda."I didn't want this to go this way but I have been tossed from one court to another. I didn't want to get to the point of getting a warrant of arrest against my ex-husband. This is for all women in Kenya going through divorce. It is not a personal war," Pluda said. "I am disappointed by women politicians who have not said anything yet it is a problem affecting most women in the country," Pluda said.
In March Philip escaped arrest after police refused to accept the court's arrest warrant. Justice GBM Kariuki had ordered that Philip be arrested and held in the civil jail at Industrial Area Prison for one month unless he pays all maintenance dues to his estranged wife, Rossana Pluda Moi. Last October, Philip was ordered to pay Sh250,000 a month for Rossana's upkeep and maintenance for the couple's two children but he has argued that he cannot afford it. Philip now owes Rossana more than Sh2 million. The court orders issued last Thursday said the warrant should be executed by the officer in charge of the police station nearest to Philip's residence. He lives in Muthaiga.

THE JUJU CURSE:EX-LOOSES CAR,HOUSE

WASN'T ME: Lizelle Tabane denies Juju link.
EXPELLED ANC Youth League president Julius Malema's supposed lover Lizelle Tabane was kicked out of her house in the north of Pretoria and dispossessed of her car. Businessman George Leshaba allegedly didn't take kindly to Tabane being romantically linked to Malema last year.
He kicked her out of the house he had put her in and took the VW Scirocco that he had bought her.
Leshaba refused to respond to requests for an interview with Sunday World this week, but Tabane did speak to us. The embattled Malema also failed to answer or respond to extensively detailed text messages and calls sent to him. "I'm not dating Julius and I never have," says Tabane this week. "The story of him [Leshaba] buying me a house is false. I've always stayed at home. Leshaba visited me at my home."
Tabane denies that she lived in his north Pretoria house at the time of their love affair and appears to be unaware that Leshaba is a married businessman with at least two children.
Leshaba is over 50 years old and has two homes in Haartbeespoort, where he lives with his family and another where he entertains his business associates and friends.
"We dated for almost two years and he always bought me things out of love as we were in a relationship. He bought me two other cars that you did not mention before the Scirocco," Tabane says.
"After I wanted to end things with him he became very angry and demanded I return all the things he bought me and threatened that he will make my life a living hell. I think his way of getting back to me was by going at the media.
"We went on overseas trips together. He always used to get me gifts." Tabane's first high-profile appearance was posing with Malema at the wedding of businessman David Mabilu in Mauritius last October.
"I left him last year in June way before the Mauritius story broke. I went there as a single woman. I wanted to leave him because he was abusive, insecure and obsessed with me and that's after I found out he had another girlfriend whom he has a child with in Mahikeng. "I broke up with George over a year ago. I have not seen him since.
"As for him being married that's news to me. I've been to his house, there was never a woman or kids there. To me that was a single man living alone in his house in Haartbeespoort, unless he is secretly married and I did not know," she says. Tabane also denies her widely publicized affair with Malema: "I have a boyfriend that I love very much. I won't mention his name for privacy purposes. We love and respect each other."
Last December, two reports said Tabane introduced herself at events as Malema's girlfriend.

YOUSOU EYES TOP JOB

Putting his lucrative recording and touring career on hold in response to what he called a “supreme patriotic duty,” the Senegalese singer-songwriter Youssou N’Dour announced late Monday that he was running for president of his country. “For a long time, men and women have demonstrated their optimism, dreaming of a new Senegal,” Mr. N’Dour, 52, said in a statement broadcast on the television and radio network he owns. “They have in various ways called for my candidacy in the February presidential race. I listened. I heard."
But Mr. N’Dour, who lives in Dakar, is the only candidate who is also a pop star with an international following. He is also an entrepreneur who has taken money earned from the more than 30 albums he has made in a solo career that spans 25 years and invested heavily in his homeland, where income per capita is barely $1,000 a year.
Mr. N’Dour’s main challenge, political analysts said, is to translate his international popularity into votes. That is likely to prove a challenge, they suggested, even with the almost universal name recognition he enjoys in Senegal.

D'BANJ DATING NAIJA LEGISLATOR?

The duo are said to be engulfed in a very discreet but passionate affair at present.A very guarded romance is on. And it revolves around two interesting  personalities- popular entertainer widely known as D Banj, Dapo Oyebanji and celebrated politician,Florence Ita Giwa.
Information made available revealed that the affair has been on for some time now.Informants revealed that the need for secrecy is more about the need for the musician to maintain the image of a successful young man every lady want to take home to mama- the bedrock of his public appeal.
Analysed a source, ‘Ita Giwa is known for keeping younger guys and lavishing expensive gifts on them. More of a Sugar Mummy having young men as plaything kind of affair. And D’Banj and the Mo’Hit crew have heavily invested on creating the image of a youngman every lady desire with all material things at his beck and call for the musician. So you see, unlike the Genevieve affair that he leveraged on male dominance to shore up that particular image, publicly associating with Ita Giwa in a submissive role of sex for material thing will make nonsense of the musician’s reputation and Mo Hits investment on him. Simply put, it decorates him with the cloak of a kept lover’.
Informants claimed that just like she allegedly did with Actors Chidi Mokeme and Jim Iyke, the former senator initiated the romance- but D’Banj, with the backing of Don Jazzy (the musician doesn’t make a move without his blessing) changed the script.
D’Banj opted for a secret affair and the celebrated politician agreed.
Sources claimed that in order to cover their tracks very well- the Mo hits crew fuelled the media celebration of D’Banj’s romance with actress Genevieve Nnaji.
According to investigations conducted by Naija website societynow Nigeria the romance with Genevieve was nothing more than a business affair turned fling.
Divulged the insider ‘Genevieve was actually contracted to feature in Dbanj’s song for a fee. The transaction later resulted in a fling. It was this period that the Ita Giwa romance sparked off. So, what Dbanj and his team did was to continue antics that fuelled the media romance as a cover up for the real loving with Ita Giwa’
While on her part- Ita Giwa has continued to enjoy the loving of yet another celebrated artiste very discreetly- D’banj and by extension the Mo’Hit crew are said not to be doing badly in the deal as well. The money spinning deal that saw D’banj a part of President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign team is said to the handiwork of Senator Ita Giwa.
Aside this, sources claimed that the Mo’Hit crew are currently tapping into the clout of the extensively connected politician set-up-this-and-that private deal.A clinical follower of the unfolding romance is of the opinion that Senator Ita Giwa’s long known penchant for publicly parading her ‘Toy’ men might disrupt the secret arrangement in the nearest future. The question is how soon?

UG GOV'T COMPENSATES BEBE COOL

When we said he’s perhaps the only artists in Uganda to be so tight with the President, many didn’t believe us. Moses Saali alias Bebe Cool is the first artist to get a warm visit from the big man a few months back after getting shot by a  trigger-happy security officer at Effendy’s bar and club. The president even went ahead and promised to meet the damages the singer went through during his absence from the music scene.
A few debates were carried out whether the Bogolako singer would be paid or it was just media hype but to everyone’s astonishment, state house released info that Bebe is to be given 180million shs as compensation for the damages he endured at the beginning of this year.
The money will also be part of Bebe’s further treatment in the USA until he gets back on his two feet. He’s slated to travel a few weeks from now with his wife Zuena and two kids Alpha and Beata.
However, the question on everyone’s mind is? Did the Government make the right decision of meeting Bebe’s costs? Because he sued the government a few months back for “damages” yet he has been performing in several places like his “Denmark tour” last month, “Return of the king concert” and not forgetting more places he has been advertised on!
